Graduation

  1. Chaperones

-- van with coolers, ice, and sodas

-- be there before others to receive pizzas and set up to prevent others from getting to food

Have someone there early to receive food and set up sodas

  1. Food

-- does Chorus need to eat since they only stay for one song?

-- should we just be responsible for feeding band?

§         Suggestions

-- give each student who is to receive food a ticket – no ticket, no food (this will avoid a repeat of students not involved in a musical group eating the food)

-- place coolers with soda in room with pizza for easier monitoring (we had students not involved in the musical groups and staff members taking sodas)  Staff was a problem during the ceremony—we were concerned about quantity

-- give bottles of water to band during graduation rather than soda (less noise, less messy if spilled)

  1. Other things to buy – napkins, make sure have knife or pizza cutter in case pizzas not cut properly

  1. Make sure you know where the bus drivers will be during ceremony

  1. Make sure you know exactly where the busses will be after the ceremony
